Vancouver Photo Workshops proudly presents a five day workshop, "Photography and Editing Intensive" with internationally acclaimed National Geographic photographer Sam Abell.

Join National Geographic photographer Sam Abell as he guides a select number of photographers serious about their work, conducting a 5 day workshop divided amongst shooting assignments, portfolio reviews, and discussions all with one purpose: creating images that have more clarity while simultaneously developing a true, unique personal vision.

Set in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, this is an incredible opportunity to expand your visual horizons under the guidance of one of the great masters in photography. Take part and experience a renewed sense of energy, inspiration and vitality in your photography.

In this exclusive workshop, Sam will discuss his technique of seeing in layers, the importance of seeing well, and how to see with more discriminating power. The goal of this workshop is to help each participant take the next step by bringing clarity to their own personal vision, finding a unique style, and understanding where they are now and where their work can take them.

The workshop will also concentrate on the editing of work and the creation of photographic projects. Each day participants will engage with Sam in the field making new photographs and in the classroom editing existing work. With strong individual attention from Sam participants will leave with a refreshed, more refined way of seeing and a distinct, more compelling body of work.
