Due to popular request, Marc has created a very unique video workshop that will give you an intimate 'behind-the-scenes' view of his photography. Geared towards intermediate to advanced photographers as well as working professionals, we will be discussing advanced post production workflows as they apply to my award-winning imagery.

In the past 10 years, Marc has won numerous international awards for several bodies and series of his work, ranging from portraits, nudes, landscapes, architecture to several series photographed using long exposure techniques. Marc will draw from this experience to outline a list of concrete tips and methods you can use to move your photography to the next level.

The next major focus of this video workshop is a detailed behind-the-scenes look at several of Marc's award-winning images. Over the years, Marc has been usinga hgreat variety of cameras and lenses, including the latest digital backs. A special mention will be made with respect to specialized camera equipment including working with technical cameras and digital backs from Phase One and Hasselblad.

Marc will talk about the work and discuss vision, scope, real-life challenges and opportunities. He will then take you step-by-step through the process of shooting and editing the work, including full Photoshop workflows with no shortcuts (such as time-lapsed workflows). In doing demonstrations, Marc will focus on the essential every-day skills that took him years to acquire, but will also address much more specialized and sophisticated techniques.

Several, if not all, of the demonstrated techniques will be applicable to other areas of photography and not just long exposures alone.

Here is a list of topics that will be covered in this tutorial video:

  • Video is presented by award-winning photographer and renown instructor Marc Koegel
  • Photographic vision: a discussion on the why's and how's

  • And much more
